How To Earn Via PayPal With A E Commerce Solution

E-Commerce truly is the wave of the future, if not even the rage of the day. I personally believe that as technology advances we are going to see tremendous growth in the area of online business and E-Commerce solution providers.

Why solution providers?

This would be kin to asking why Windows is needed when we have DOS. The easier the Internet is made to use the more likely people will be to do exactly that.

To illustrate consider the difficulty of creating and adding PayPal buttons to a project. This is possible and even easy if you are a programmer.

Another option would be to use solution provider E-commerce services that you select. True, the cost is something to consider but so is the fact that you can quickly take your project to market.

So what advantages do E-commerce services bring to your project?

  • Shopping efficiency
  • Exceptional brand experience
  • Community involvement
  • Promotional possibilities
  • Comprehensive and compelling information
  • Gifting services

Many, like Magento, even help integrate PayPal which can be seen as part of the shopping efficiency.

This leaves you with two options.

The “do it yourself” approach where you have time to learn all the “in’s” and “out’s” including the integration of PayPal offerings.

Here are some simple steps to the PayPal part of the equation.

First, create an account with PayPal. If your making PayPal part of your income stream then this will need to be done no matter which option you choose.

Select the fourth blue tab from the left “Merchant services”. When your inventory is based upon only a few items I recommend using the “buy now button” and create separate sales buttons for each item. For larger store front options consider using the “add to cart button” instead so that people can make multiple purchases.

You will be given PayPal code that then needs to be integrated into your Website.
This may seem straight forward enough, but typically people will run into bumps along the way. On the positive side you can always call PayPal customer service for help. Unfortunately, I personally have had my own challenges with their team of service agents.

Despite the complications, in the not too distant pass I would have recommended this approach. This is where E-commerce solution providers have incredibly and positively changed the playing field.

Options to consider for your own Ecommerce Web site solution can include but are not be limited to:

• Magento
• PHP Open Source
• Joomla
• Drupal
• OS Commerce

To thoroughly explore all options would be an article of itself if not an outright book.

Magento open source appears to be the front runner according to a blog post on Google trends that I read recently. It doesn’t take an in-depth review of Magento E-commerce software to understand why this is the case. I enjoy the look and feel of what Magento brings to the table compared to other technologies and PayPal processes are weaved into its technology letting you deal with more important aspects of your company.

However, not all needs are created equal and if you find your own personal E-commerce solution to diverge from Magento then select what is best for you and build from there.
